You will have a proven track record in cultural change management, digitalisation project management andexperience of contributing to LEAN manufacturing strategies. Candidates will have a strong background in ERP systems, IT systems and the integration of Industry 4.0.The role itself is varied but is predominantly focused on leading a cultural shift towards a data driven manufacturing environment whilst striking a balance with technology adoption, employee development and retention. You will collaborate with directorsacross a group of businesses to devise and deliver strategies in a move towards digital and manufacturing excellence, with the integration of industry 4.0 technologies for smarter factory initiatives. You will have experience integrating automation, IoT andconnected systems, for better use of data in advanced manufacturing settings. You will contribute heavily towards the development and maintenance of an efficient and robust IT infrastructure and IT systems. You will actively contribute to the streamliningof processes and develop/implement production planning and control systems for all manufacturing and inventory handling areas. You will champion best practice and proper use of the companies ERP system (Epicor Vantage) across the group of businesses. As partof your role, the IT department will report into you and you will be responsible for coordinating their projects and tasked with developing and mentoring the team and monitoring their performance.This is a role due to growth and succession planning within a highly successful manufacturer who are a brand associated with quality.
