We are working with an established, successful and driven Telecommunications & IT company based in the West Midlands, providing services to small to medium sized businesses across the UK and are searching for a skilled engineer to join their dynamic teamof engineers.You will be installing a wide range of solutions including Gamma Horizon, NEC PBX, Ubiquity WiFi, Ruckus WiFi, Watchguard Firewalls, and all the associated routers, switches and network peripherals required to provide comprehensive communications solutionsto their business customers.It is essential that you have a solid networking understanding, including working with VoIP/SIP, configuring VLANs, and working with routers and firewalls competently, to enable you to work autonomously at customer sites.Experience with the products they install is desirable but not essential, as you will be trained both on the job, but also complete the relevant accreditations across the portfolio as you progress.Areas of work will involve:- Installation & Commissioning of new solutions (3-5 days per week)- Maintenance of existing solutions, both proactive and reactive- Remote Diagnostics & Technical Support- Basic on-site training for end-users- Liaison with the Project Management team who coordinate installations- Site surveys where required- Some general cabling worksThis is a fantastic opportunity to work with a terrific team of people, who deliver excellent solutions and support to a variety of business clients.
