Job Description

Job Title: MI Team LeaderSalary: £53,000 per annum + BonusLocation: Fully Remote Role, based in West BromwichMy client is looking for a Management Information Team Leader to work in their growing team. You will be expected to lead a team of analysts to complete initial triage of work and deliver the translation of data into functional requirements, Data Catalogues,Data Dictionaries and Test Plans that can be used by the MIS development team for development of Data Warehouse reporting applications.Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of Analysts to deliver work triage
  • Document as-is and to-be business reporting data models, processes and workflows, identifying relevant problems with existing systems and processes.
  • Support impact assessments for Data Warehouse developments.
  • Manage the creation of Data Dictionaries for new data warehouse systems developments and updates resulting from changes to systems already operational.
  • Validate and prioritise requirements with business users and MIS development teams.
Experience
  • Experience in an MI/data driven environment working with large and complex data systems
  • Proven leadership skills in an MIS analysis delivery environment
  • Strong analytical skills to deconstruct complex data models and reporting systems.
  • Exposure to data analysis and reporting tools e.g. Business Objects, SPSS.
  • Skills in SQL, ideally Oracle PL/SQL, and MS-Excel.
  • Knowledge of Financial Services sector would be preferable.
