Job Description

Maintenance EngineerFixed Days (40 Hours per Week)Strong career progressionThe role Ensures that all equipment, machines and building structure is maintained to a high standard and functional for production across all sites. Order the required spares and fit as required to ensure equipment functionality. Conduct regular scheduled TMP checkson all required equipment to ensure continued reliability.Maintenance Technician Job Duties: -

  • Carry out repairs on CNC multi axis turning and milling machines. Primarily Doosan, Mazak and Matsuura.
  • Multi skilled electro/mechanical background
  • Have a good understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • Working knowledge of PLC systems.
  • Inspect buildings, equipment, and systems to identify any issues.
  • Repair faulty equipment units and damaged structures.
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance procedures.
  • Manage heating and plumbing systems to guarantee functionality.
  • Plan and schedule repairs.
  • Conduct periodic quality checks on equipment and systems to ensure everything is up to standard.
  • Ensure that Site safety systems are functional such as Fire alarms, sprinkler system and that Site security system is operational.
  • Help develop and implement the budget for the maintenance department.
  • Keeps work area tidy at all times and cleans as required to maintain a consistent 5s standard.
  • Identify, stock & control all critical spares items.
  • Any issues related to Safety, equipment malfunction, Quality concerns or loss of production must be reported to line manager in a timely manner.
  • All company process documentation/process sheets must be filled in as required.
  • Works a flexible schedule to keep up with production demand during busy production periods.
