Job Description

Robert Walters is working with an expanding wastewater treatment company located in West Bromwich, for the recruitment of a Graduate Process Engineer. Our client is at the forefront of innovative solutions in environmental engineering, dedicated to sustainablepractices and technological advancements in wastewater treatment.We are currently seeking a highly motivated and talented Graduate Process Engineer to join our clients West Bromwich team. As a Graduate Process Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in contributing to the companys mission of delivering efficient andenvironmentally conscious wastewater treatment processesThis position integrates tasks related to process design, sales, technical support, and commissioning services. This role offers a unique opportunity for accelerated professional growth, allowing individuals to gain hands-on experience while undergoing acomprehensive training and development program lasting approximately 6 to 12 months. Successful completion of this developmental period will lead to progression into a full-fledged Process Engineer role.Responsibilities Include:

  • Adhere to Company health, safety, quality, and environmental standards.
  • Analyse tender documents, collaborating with the Proposals team for design criteria.
  • Evaluate design work against procedures and prepare a design risk schedule.
  • Build effective relationships with business partners for development.
  • Provide process and technical support for Aftermarket proposals.
  • Assist in sales activities, including presentations and meetings.
  • Support Projects and Installations teams in contract delivery and troubleshooting.
  • Maintain prompt communication with internal teams, customers, and partners.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Candidate Requirement:
  • Minimum 2.1 degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Work experience within relevant design role (preferable).
  • Health and safety knowledge.
  • Advanced proficiency in Teams, Word, Excel, Project, and other MS Office programs.
  • Strong mathematical skills for complex situations.
  • Willingness to travel in the UK, Ireland, and Europe.
  • Occasional overnight stays.
  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
  • Rapidly acquire knowledge of treatment processes, infrastructure, and equipment.
  • Adaptability in a multi-disciplined team.
  • CAD experience.
  • Develop understanding of Commercial Terms & Conditions and Contract law.
  • Valid Full UK driving license.
  • Valid Passport.
