Black Country Womens AidLet us introduce ourselvesBlack Country Womens Aid (BCWA) is an established charity working across the Black Country and wider West Midlands providing accommodation and community support services to victims of domestic abuse, sexual abuse and human trafficking. Services range fromadvocacy, civil remedies, support in court, individual and group support and access to a range of therapeutic interventions. All services are client and needs led.Community Services DirectorateWithin this directorate, the following vital services are deliveredBlack Country Womens Aid Community Services include; * Community Domestic Abuse Support Services (Sandwell, Walsall and Dudley) * Black Country IRIS (primary care) educator and advocacy service * Rape and Sexual Abuse Support Services (Black Country)* Black Country Sexual Abuse Forum* Black Country Counselling Service * Domestic and sexual abuse Children and Young persons service (Black Country)* West Midlands Stalking Service* Ask Marc (Male abuse referral centre)This position is located within the Community Domestic Violence and Abuse Support ServiceThe BCWA Community Domestic Violence and Abuse Support Service supports victims of domestic violence and abuse in Sandwell, Dudley, Wolverhampton and Walsall through a range of contracted/commissioning arrangements. Job RoleJob Title: First Contact AdministratorPosition available: 1 full-time position (37.5 hours), based in SandwellSalary: £20,167 - £22,320.42Closing date: 16 January 2023All interviews will be held via Microsoft TeamsIs this youWe are looking for someone to join our team as first contact administrator, being a part of our central contact and administrative team with experience in managing a high volume of calls, a timely response to all stakeholders, excellent interpersonal skillsand efficient and organised administration. It is from this first contact that the relationship with BCWA begins.The Role:You will be required to provide a high-quality and efficient response to every call received this will include being responsible for delivering an effective system of first contact, care and support to victims of domestic violence and abuse this includes, gatheringinformation regarding the victim/survivor and their circumstances effectively managing referrals and queries from partner agenciesIf you are self-driven, conscientious, hardworking with lots of ambition we would love to hear from you.Important information for all positionsBlack Country Womens Aid is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of vulnerable adults, children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.All posts are subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975.
