Electrical SupervisorWest BromwichDaysUp to £42,000We are looking for a motivated electrical supervisor to join market leading manufacturer in their respective field. Reporting directly to the engineering manager you will be a key member in ensuring the production facility is kept running. You will be involvedin all aspects of planned and reactive maintenance within their operation. With progressive training and development this company is always looking to enhance its employees and their skill sets, whilst additionally being supported by a welcoming team of engineers.The position will appeal to a strong engineer looking for their next challenging role within in a secure and stable company.Role Description* The first line supervision of a small electrical maintenance team involving preventative and reactive maintenance work in an industrial production orientated environment. * The use of Computerised Maintenance Management Systems. * The ability to use and interpret equipment drawings, manuals and other technical information to assist with all works. * Work in accordance with the company safe systems of work and permit to work systems.* Ideally have a good understanding of ATEX requirements including hazardous area classification. * The ability to mentor and train staff when/where required.Skills and Qualifications * Educated to RQF level 3 (e.g. City & Guilds level 3) in a practical Electrical discipline as a minimum. * You must have at least 5 years experience in an Industrial environment and have extensive knowledge of industrial electrical equipment as a minimum. * Ideally you would have a recognised Electrical apprenticeship. * Ideally you have the 18th edition electrical wiring regulations. * Ideally you would have a Compex (Ex01-04) & (Ex05-06) qualification.In return for your commitment my client offers a stable and secure career for a technically motivated engineer.
