Job Description

Contracts ManagerPermanent OpportunityJanuary 2024 start date.Starting salary of £40,000 per annum, this is negotiable.40hrs per week Monday to Friday 8am - 4:30pmWe are seeking a competitive, passionate, and goal-oriented Construction Contracts Manager to join my clients fast-growing company. In this role, you will be tasked with building a sales pipeline for the business. As a Contracts Manager, you will have thefreedom to create and implement strategies that will lead to the continued growth of the business. If you are the type of person who leads by example and is looking for an opportunity to grow sales, my client has a great opportunity for you! Preferably youwill have a clientbase and strong network of contacts already.This role will be a split between office based administrative work and visits, thus out on the road meeting with customers for sales meetings. As part of this position, you will be provided with a company car with fuel card/company credit card, structured bonuspackage and 25 days holiday plus bank holidays allowance.Contracts Manager requirements:" Proven track record in sales, must be from the construction industry or similar shop fitting industry." Excellent communication and negotiation skills." Strong leadership abilities and a results-driven mindset." Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite." You must be comfortable working as both a team player and independently.Contracts Manager responsibilities:" Previous experience as a Contracts/ Sales Manager, with face-to-face client experience within the industry." Beneficial if you have experience within the Construction Industry." This role will involve a mix of sales and customer service to their clients existing customer base, as well as trying to bring new customers and projects on board with a mix of finding new leads." It will be beneficial, if possible, to bring your own existing customers with you that you have established from previous roles and employments." You will be managing a portfolio of clients, creating new business opportunities, and managing customer expectations." Establish and strategically build a solid customer base." Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while actively seeking new business opportunities." Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies." Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities."
