This is a fixed term contract for 12 months. Virtual interviews will be conducted initially. This role will suit an AAT studier or equivalent,Responsible for delivery of a high-quality, efficient and compliant housing rent transactions service ensuring all rent receipts, adjustments and refunds are delivered on a timely and accurate basis.2. Working in collaboration with Rents Transactions team to deliver rent accounting for all tenure types of London Region & Outer London, SW9 and Leasehold Services in accordance with current audit, accounting and legislative practices3. Data processing activities within Northgate, ensuring data accuracy and integrity; income transactions processing with Northgate interfacing with SUN; running Housing Finance Interface for all the Rental Income.4. Delivery of high-calibre customer care and service in all aspects of role, ensuring completion of issues within a timely manner.5. Manual and electronic upload of Housing Benefit, Universal Credit & DWP schedules; Allpay downloads as required.6. Cheques processing; refunds of rents & service charges delivery; compensation and home loss payments in line with policy and procedures.7. Creation of sundry sub accounts upon Income teams’ requests, including ground rent, car parking, insurance and court costs, and action Balance transfers and raise adjustments, if necessary.8. Interrogate suspense account and allocate funds to ensure accurate balances and allocation of sales completion monies within agreed timescales.9. Undertake report producing activities e.g. sundry debtors for management accounts10. Support external audit process. Provide reports and supporting documentation, as required.11. Responsible for communication of reported deficient records including making recommendation for and implementing solutions.12. Production of Utility Invoices for PRO team; assist Income teams with urgent investigative work regarding account queries or missing receipts before court action; and undertake year end activities to address rent arrears, accruals.Standard ResponsibilitiesAdopt and comply withvalues, policies and procedures, and regulatory frameworks
