Job Description

Role: Inclusion ManagerLocation: North-West LondonHours: Full TimeSalary: £40,704 to £43,706 per annum dependant on skills & experienceDuration: PermanentReed Further Education are currently working with an outstanding college in the North-West London area who are seeking an Inclusion Manager to join their team on a permanent basis starting in the new academic year.The College:

  • Ofsted judged the College to be outstanding - the highest possible grade
  • A pass rate of 98% at grades A*-G in GCSEs
  • Lots of facilities and near to the town centres and has excellent transport links
The Inclusion Manager Role:
  • Responsible to plan and deliver learning support across the College
  • To ensure appropriate resources are secured, and staff are skilled to provide high quality learning support
  • Lead a team ensuring the delivery of support services to learners across college
  • Liaise with the Specialist Medical Coordinator in the continuous monitoring and development of CPD for all staff
  • Ensure specialist training needs are identified and addressed
  • Manage a budget including the contracts from local authorities for high needs learners
  • Responsible for the Additional Learning Support income liaising with the working closely with the Senior Administrator
  • To plan and timetable the provision of in-class, one to one and small group Learning Support
  • To develop partnership with parents, practitioners, young people and other agencies
  • To liaise closely with the EHC Coordinator and the Local Authority EHC Team
  • Work closely with feeder schools to manage the transition process for high needs learners progressing to college
What the Inclusion Manager will need:
  • Advanced level teaching qualification
  • Relevant Degree level qualification or equivalent professional qualification
  • Qualified SENCo status
  • Experience in SENCo/ALS Manager role
  • Experience of managing delivery of ALS at cross-college level
  • Team management/leadership experience
  • Extensive knowledge of funding for additional learning support
  • Strong organisational skills
