Job Description

Gluing Machine Operator - PackagingLOCATION; Wembley, LondonSALARY; £10-14/hour Negotiable dependant on experience + Overtime paid at time and a halfCompany: A family run business established in 1953, who specialise in manufacturing food grade packaging from green materials.Hours; Monday to Friday - 7am - 4.30pm + Overtime (anything over 40 hours)+ Saturday work (at the discretion of the business when required)Occasional need for afternoon/evening shift 4.30pm-12.30amRole:

  • Currently looking to recruit a Nested Gluer / Tray Forming Machine Operator
  • The ideal candidate will have experience on Nested Gluers / Tray Forming machines such as Heiber and Schroeders
  • They will also consider candidates with experience operating other gluing machines.
    • Requirements:
  • Ideal candidate will have Nested Gluer experience
  • Have experience of Heiber and Schroeders would be preferable
  • Would consider someone with Geitz or Bobst experience
  • Experience working in a carton manufacturing environment is desirable but not essential
  • Straight line and crash lock would be beneficial
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision to specified customer details
  • Ability to work on projects of diverse scope
  • Keen eye for detail
  • Quality conscious
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Ability to prioritise, organise and follow through
  • Ability to work well under pressure
