Job Description

Brief Outline

  • An industry leading, multi-disciplined contractor in the construction market requires a Contracts Manager to oversee various projects across London area.
  • The contracts manager will be responsible for overseeing ongoing progress of projects, ensuring schedules and budgets are being followed.
  • The client is looking for a hands-on, enthusiastic individual who will be involved and invested in the company’s projects and its progress.

  • The client has been active in the construction sector for over 30 years with an established client base and consistent work around the South East.
  • The company are involved with structural alterations, civils and groundworks, demolition, enabling, basements and substructures works amongstother areas.
    • About the Role
  • Responsibility for day to day management of allocated portfolio of projects.
  • Sub-contract management
  • Responsibility for ensuring projects are completed on a timely basis within budget.
  • To liaise and maintain a good working relationship with Clients, other Surveyors, Project Managers and attend site meetings when needed.
    • About the Candidate
  • Previous experience in project/ contracts management for structural alterations, facade retention and temporary works contracts for complex inner city sites
  • Flexible self-starter with ability to prioritise
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • PC literate
  • Commercially aware
