Job DescriptionOur client is a global natural resources company, producing, marketing and trading physical commodities and commodity derivatives, predominantly metals, gad and power.The risk management team is headquartered in London, and over the past 18 months has grown in size as the management team look to improve their risk management capabilities.As part of this expansion, the team are now looking to appoint an LNG Risk Analytics lead - a quantitative resource who will work with LNG risk managers and traders to quantify risks and build quantitative tools to help better manage the LNG desk.The successful candidate will ideally have a strong understanding of the fundamentals of physical commodities trading, preferably LNG, although individuals with strong gas, oil or shipping experience would be considered. Strong quantitative modelling skills are essential and you must have a high level of competence modelling in Python.This is an excellent opportunity to take on a newly created role with the scope to really stamp your mark on the role and the team.
