Job Description

Our client is a well-established IT support company with a large client base. They are situated in Welwyn Garden City. They are on the look-out for a Web Designer and Frontend Developer to join theirs team.You will be responsible for the detailed design and front-end development and testing of individual client and internal websites, mobile, software applications as an overall project. You will require specialist knowledge and technical skills in respect of the following.Design Skills:

  • Client facing experience
  • Creating wireframes, design concepts and mock-ups
  • Design for user experience UX
  • Mobile First
  • Prepare design assets for developers
  • Reskinning od Wordpress /OpenCart & Magento themes
  • Working Knowledge of HTML | XHTML | HTML5 | CSS | JS | Wordpress | OpenCart | Magento | Adobe Creative Suite
    • Core Skills:
  • Attention to detail
  • Problem solving and communication skills
  • Good knowledge of design tools
  • Keep up to date with modern design trends
  • Team Player
    • Bonus Technical Skills:
  • Used Git or equivalent, and understands code control
  • Modern front end workflows (JS, Webpack, CSS pre-processors)
    • o Laravel frontend experienceo Designing for Android Appso Designing for Web AppsThe successful applicant is required to have a detailed knowledge of the above as well as possessing a Degree in Internet Technologies/Design and 3+ years proven experience with references.Salary £26,000 - £30,000 Based on Experience Required skills
