Job Description

Join a High-Performing SEN School in Ware as a Special Educational Needs TeacherA challenging and highly rewarding opportunity awaits you as a Special Educational Needs Teacher in Ware, Hertfordshire. This long-term to permanent role is available starting Easter and is ideal for experienced teachers from SEN, Primary or Secondary settingsand are interested in working with students with severe autism and learning difficulties.The school, rated as "Outstanding" by Ofsted (2018), caters to students aged 4 to 19 who have severe autism and learning difficulties. The school has a supportive leadership team and experienced staff who are committed to providing the best education andcare for its students.The Role Requirements for the Special Educational Needs Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status from either a primary or secondary background with SEN experience
  • Must have experience of working in a special needs school, not just mainstream
  • Ability to handle challenging behaviour and maintain a calm demeanour
  • Strong understanding and high level of experience in working with SEN students
