Management Accountant£40-60k depending on experienceWGC - Office basedOur client is an international business in the construction industry, with operations in the UK, Ireland and UAE. They are a leading specialist supplying clients with the design, supply and erection of scaffolding, mast climbers and hoists on major constructionsites. We are currently supporting them to recruit a qualified Management Accountant/Financial Controller who is either ACCA, ACA, CIMA qualified to join their busy accounts team at their Head Office in Welwyn Garden City.Job Role:- Assist in preparation of consolidated year-end statutory accounts- Assist in preparation of quarterly management accounts and bank packs- Maintain fabrication costs & products register- Maintain the fixed asset register- Prepayments and accruals- Reconcile balance sheet accounts- Review bank/revenue reconciliations- Reconcile inter-company transactions- VAT returns- Payroll processing for weekly employees- Sales ledger and purchase ledger processing- Cash book entries- P11D Submissions- Ad-hoc reportingWhilst the main role involves the above duties the preferred candidate will need to be flexible and willing to get involved at all levels within the accounts team, such as cover periods of leave or to meet deadlines.Skills Required:- Candidates must have excellent Excel skills/analytical skills- ACCA, CIMA, or ACA Qualified- Confident and able to work on own initiative- Must have good attention to detail- Strong communication skills- Accounting experience in construction- Coins software knowledge preferableInterested Please apply today for consideration
