Learning Support AssistantAre you a LSA or SEN TA looking for a role at a Specialist centre that supports pupils with Mild Educational Needs Perhaps youre looking for a diverse range at a mainstream school with the option of working at their specialist on site unit for pupils withmoderate SEN needsTradewind Recruitment is proud to be partnered with a fantastic Secondary School located in Welwyn Garden City who are looking for an additional 2 Learning Support Assistants or TAs to start from January until the end of the academic year July 2024. Asa result of the reputation of the school the school have accepted an additional intake at the request of council and need additional staff to support across the classes.*** LSA / SEN TA - September 2022 start - £100-£110 per day*** Well run Mainstream School with Specialist SEN unit on site*** Long term position that could become permanent after 2 terms*** Working within small classes up to 10 in size, of secondary aged pupils who work at the Primary P levels.This is a holistic and welcoming school that offers additional support for pupils with autism and additional moderate needs. Class sizes in the unit are between 7-11 and pupils are supported by experienced teachers and support staff in every classroom. TheMainstream school is spread over a large site and offers state of the art features to support its pupils. Sensory learning and trips play a large part of school life and staff here are happy, positive and upbeat due to positive work / life balance. Behaviouris good and the school are looking for staff able to start in the first weeks of January and commit for the duration of the academic year.Applicants with SEN, TA or LSA experience are encouraged to apply as are those looking for their first post in education.
