Job Description

I am working with an NHS Organisation who are looking for an experienced Finance Manager or Management Accountant for 4 months initially.The role is full time, to start ASAP and paying £168.03 PAYE or £228.77 Umbrella per day. The role is in scope of IR35.The role is predominantly working from home however you will be required to work from the office in either Welwyn Garden City or Filborn in Cambridge just 1 day a month. OVERVIEW OF REQUIREMENTS

  • Manage the delegated budget.
  • Ensure compliance with Finance and Procurement policies.
  • Provide Procurement advice.
  • Manage finances, assets and payroll reconciliation.
  • Identify and gain agreement for measures to deliver budget efficiencies through cost-savings, re-allocation of financial resources or external sourcing of services.
  • Ensure regular reviews of expenditure take place.
  • Assist and support budget holders to scrutinise their own budgets.
  • Production of monthly, quarterly and annual financial accounts, forecasts and budgets.
  • Advanced use of Excel spreadsheets.
MAIN DUTIESYour responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
  • Support the delivery of timely and accurate reporting of financial performance across the East Region
  • Working with the Operational financial team to identify and assist in ensuring performance concerns are addressed
  • To liaise with central and regional teams to develop, understand and interpret policy and ad-vice & disseminate and confirm compliance with accordingly
  • To support the teams role in the financial planning process
  • To support the provision of analytical financial support
Essential experience
  • AAT qualified
  • Analysis
  • Forecasting
  • Commissioning
  • Dealing with PO requests
  • Usual Management Accounting duties
