Job Description

Finance ManagerWelwyn Garden City, Herts£55,000 - £65,000 per yearOur client, a dynamic and growing company in the travel sector is seeking a talented Finance Manager to join its team. Reporting directly to two senior Directors, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the financial stability and success of the organisation.Key Responsibilities: As the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, accounting and analysis, as well as:* Upholding adherence to industry regulations and financial standards.* Coordinating with auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies.* Formulating and executing impactful financial strategies, policies, and procedures.* Supervising the preparation of precise and punctual financial statements, reports, and analyses.* Analysing financial data, offering insights, and presenting recommendations.* Steering the budgeting and forecasting processes to align with strategic objectives.* Ensuring effective cash flow management, encompassing monitoring of receivables, payables, and working capital.* Leading the year-end audit process and collaborating with external auditors.* Providing senior management with financial guidance and support.Requirements:* ACA, ACCA, CIMA Qualified or Qualified by Experience.* Experience within the travel sector and understanding of TOMS VAT.* Proven experience in financial leadership role.* Previous knowledge of the relevant industry is desirable.* Excellent knowledge of financial regulations and reporting standards.* Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.* Strong leadership skills.Additional Details:* Job Type: Full-time* Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 per year* Hybrid working: 4 days in officeAGY - Vitae Financial RecruitmentWe Exist To Be Different - Membership NOT Registration
