Job Description

We have an exciting new opportunity for a Desktop Support Engineer to join our IT team where you will be given the opportunity to grow your skill sets across all applications used throughout the company. If you are an experienced desktop support user within a busy 24x7 NHS or related provider organisation, then this could be the role for you.This post is for 37.5 hours per week covering shifts Monday – Friday (7.00am-8.00pm) You will also be required to work some weekends and Bank Holidays and be part of the on-call rotaThis role will be predominately based at HQ in Welwyn Garden City though you will be required to work in locations in and around Hertfordshire/West Essex/Cambridgeshire & Peterborough/ Luton & Bedfordshire depending upon the needs of the business.This role is focused on ensuring that helpdesk tickets are logged and correctly assigned.As a Desktop Support Engineer you are required to be familiar with Adastra and SystmOne software and able to offer a “first line” support function.We would expect you to have substantial computer hardware and software faultfinding experience and have

  • Experience of TPP SystmOne, Adastra, Cloud Telephony systems
  • Good knowledge of MS Office and Windows 7 & 10 OS.
  • Experience of managing AD and Group Policies.
  • Knowledge of Active Directory and Group Policies
  • A team orientated approach and willingness to support colleagues.
  • Ability to work under pressure with changing priorities.
  • Full and valid driving licence with access to own vehicle
