Job Description

We are currently seeking an Accounts Administrator to support our clients finance department in handling various accounting responsibilities. As the Accounts Administrator, you will be responsible for processing customer orders, generatingsales orders, raising invoices, and managing supplier orders and invoices. Additionally, your role will involve processing credit card payments, generating reports, and providing administrative support to the team.Responsibilities:

  • Process customer orders and generate sales orders using Sage 50
  • Raise sales invoices and post them on Sage 50
  • Generate supplier orders on Sage 50
  • Process supplier invoices and post them on Sage 50
  • Handle credit card payments from customers
  • Manage company credit card statements and receipts
  • Generate reports for supplier payments
  • Create forecasts for customer invoicing
  • File invoices, statements, and other paperwork
  • Collaborate with suppliers to process invoices and generate orders
  • Work with customers to generate invoices and address queries
In collaboration with the directors, accountant, and incoming Financial Director, you will also:
  • Generate monthly reports from Sage 50, including monthly management reports, breakdowns by customer, and breakdowns by product/service area
  • Prepare other reports as requested by the directors, accountant, and Financial Director
  • Assist with Sage 50 administration, such as adding new product types/services
  • Generate and amend Sage 50 templates as required
In this role, you will also provide support with general office administration tasks and answer telephone calls as required.The ideal Accountants Administrator will have:
  • Previous experience in an accounts administration role or similar position
  • Proficiency in using Sage 50
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a small team
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with suppliers and address customer queries
  • Basic knowledge of office administration tasks
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Experience in generating reports and analyzing data
