Technical Installations Project ManagerAbout the companyMy client are an energy tech company focused on solving the challenges of delivering a flexible energy grid for a greener smarter future.They are experiencing a period of rapid growth and are currently seeking a new member of the team to support this exciting time by overseeing the installations of our bespoke platform across a range of industries and to support their overseas projects.Job DescriptionWe are seeking a hard-working and self-motivated Technical Installations Project Manager to manage installations of the companies technology, into a wide range of sites across multiple industries.There is scope to grow the role, but you will initially act as the main contact for the client from quotation to after installation support and will see projects from conception to end, requiring you to liaise with colleagues, and the client and clientsengineers to ensure customer satisfaction and the delivery of a reliable system. You will have accountability for the management of the project and will support the growth and profitability of the companySpecifically, the Technical Installations Project Manager will:Support sales by specifying installations requirements and costing jobs accordingly (this will require you to undertake site visits)Manage installations schedules - arranging and working with clients and their engineers & contractorsSupporting clients and / or their contractors with installations, commissioning & ongoing technical queries to ensure our solutions are working correctly and efficiently (onsite & remotely)Develop and deliver training programmes for wide scale deployments. For example, training to support commissioning and hand over of projects and installation training for electricians / BMS engineers.Be responsible for compliance of installations including, H&S, electrical installation, energy markets, energy metering, and O&M service, including any handover process.Identify system upgrades & service gaps that improve our solution, feeding these back to our inhouse technical team and supporting their role out to clients.Support marketing activities as necessary.Keep up to date with the energy markets - including flexibility markets technical requirements to ensure our products delivery on behalf our of customer.Work with in house technical team and operations to continually improve our products and services and operational procedures.Technical Knowledge & Experience:Excellent technical knowledge of electrical installations, industrial & commercialExcellent project management skills - 2 years (Preferred)Good knowledge of renewable technologies, energy generation and storage technologiesGood knowledge of digital communications such as modbus, BACnet, ethernet and RS485.Knowledge of decarbonisation, specifically energy related carbon emissionsExperience of specifying requirements of projects / installations to ensure delivery against budgetElectricity network connections, capacity and compliance requirementsKnowledge of energy sectorOther skills Experience / Qualifications:Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlinesGood leadership skillsSelf-managing and motivatedGood attention to detailAdaptability and able to transfer knowledge to otherGood communication & organisation skillsFull Driving licence (preferably clean)Job OverviewFull-time - Permanent (40 hours per week) - Monday to FridayDriving Licence (Required)Right to Work in United Kingdom (Required)Prepared to undertake CRB ChecksBenefits:25 Days annual leave + bank holidaysCompany pensionSick payAbility to work remotely - some designated time in the officeOn-site parking @ offices
