Job Description

Year 5/6 Teacher - WellingboroughTradewind is currently working with an excellent Primary School based in Wellingborough who has a requirement to take on a fully qualified teacher from January 2022!The successful teacher will be employed directly through Tradewind initially (Paid to scale) and have the potential to go onto a permanent contract thereafter if desired. The placement will start in September and be for a minimum of 2 terms. You will betaking on an excellent Year 5 or 6 class of high achievers; behaviour is excellent, and they have two experienced members of staff within each class to support where needed.The School is situated in Wellingborough, they are proud of their successes and they have a fantastic team throughout all year groups. They have a close partnership between the school and pupils development at home. There are two classes per year and childrenlove to learn.Criteria:

  • Qualified Teacher Status
  • Fully Qualified
  • Can provide engaging and motivating lessons
  • Strong in teaching Mathematics (specialism ideally)
  • Able to plan and track a balanced curriculum
  • Establish relationships with pupils and other staff members quickly
  • SATS preparation experience
  • Looking to progress within a School and take on extra responsibility in the future
  • Passionate about delivering lessons to pupils from a range of backgrounds
  • Have a desire to support within music, sports, or art (desirable)
  • Encourage and motivate pupils in KS2 to achieve the best they can be!
