Job Description

ROLE: Warehouse Operative LOCATION: WellingboroughHOURS OF WORK: Monday - Friday (Days)BASIC SALARY: £21,500K p.aADDITIONAL BENEFITS: Bonus, Private Medical, Free Gym MembershipCompany ProfileThis is a fantastic opportunity for anyone looking to develop their career in the logistics and warehousing field to join a successful local business that really values their staff and offers a great working environment and excellent benefits.In this Warehouse Operative role, you will be responsible for:

  • Deliveries to customers using company vans
  • Warehouse stock management, including movements, consolidation, stock-checks
  • Accept goods-in ensuring correct paper work is received, checked, and processed on company systems
  • Picking/packing to excellent levels of accuracy for defined client group
  • Support co-workers as and when required
  • Consignment labelling, completion of delivery notes
  • Pallet wrapping / re-palletising
  • Carrying out general warehouse cleaning
  • Maintain stock system information (full training given relating to company details)
  • Loading and unloading vans/lorries using FLT equipment
In order to be successful as a Warehouse Operative you must:
  • Experience in a busy professional warehouse
  • Full clean UK driving license
  • PC Literate
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate well with all levels of staff/customers/suppliers both face to face, email and telephone
  • Energetic problem solver with a can-do attitude
