Job Description

An award-winning, family-owned firm of Chartered Accountants is looking for a Trainee Accountant who wants to further their professional career. Along with a salary of up to £25,000 per annum, you will also receive a comprehensive study package, an excellentbenefits package, and a fantastic work-life & work-study balance.The role primarily involves supporting the Client Managers and Senior Accountants with preparation of accounts and related taxation work for a wide variety of clients. They are keen to make the most of modern technology and this is reflected in the internalworking practices and how the firm works with clients.As Trainee Accountant, you will need a willingness to increase qualifications where relevant, which could consist of:

  • No current relevant qualifications, but a willingness to study AAT, ACA, or ACCA
  • AAT qualified with experience and looking to start a training contract with either ACA or ACCA
  • Already studying AAT, ACA or ACCA, part qualified and wishing to continue studies
  • L1 or L2 AAT candidates could also seek an apprenticeship with us
What we’re looking for in a Trainee Accountant:
  • Friendly, approachable and enjoy communications with clients and colleagues
  • Numerate, inquisitive and a logical thinker
  • Enthusiastic with a willingness to learn and develop
  • Competent Excel and general IT skills
