Job Description

ROLE: Security OfficerLOCATION: Wellingborough HOURS OF WORK: Monday - Friday 0730 - 1700BASIC SALARY: £11.00 per hourCompany ProfileOur client is seeking a Security Officer to ensure the security of goods and staff within a warehouse and office facility.In this Security Officer role, you will be responsible for:

  • Monitoring external and internal CCTV to protect stock integrity and breeches in Health and Safety policy.Have a presence at the security station and make sure all staff enter and exit the warehouse through the metal detector and turnstile.Use handheldwand to check any staff who have activated the walk-through detector.
  • Monitor and control all access to the yard area recording all registration and company details of vehicles entering.
  • Carry out regular checks on the CCTV system to ensure all cameras are functioning and recording.
  • Notify management of any potential breeches of security immediately.
To be successful as a Security Officer:
  • At least 1 years experience within a security role
  • Good written and verbal communication
  • Organisation skills
  • Accuracy of work
  • Ability to communicate at all levels
