Job role: Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer Salary: £40,000-£46,000 + overtime Location: Wellingborough, Northamptonshire Hours: Double days Monday to Friday, 6:00-14:00 / 14:00-22:00 Job Type: Full Time, Permanent Overtime: Time ½ Holiday: 33 days including bank holidays The Company: Interaction have partnered with a well-established, industry leader in recycling of uPVC windows and doors. Due to continuous growth, our client is now looking to add a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to their busy engineering team. The Benefits · Overtime available - time ½ · 25 days holiday + bank holidays · Pension subject to auto-enrolment - Employee contribution 5% (minimum) and Employer contributes 3% · All Colleague Bonus - Individuals can get up to £1,200 per year subject to the Company achieving performance targets. This is calculated as up to £200 per quarter and £400 at year end. · Life Assurance - pays out at 4x salary · Health Cash Plan Benefit · Long Service Awards The Role · Minimise production downtime, by carrying out routine scheduled maintenance (PPMs) and respond to unplanned breakdowns with the stipulated timeframes. · Ensure that production operations maximise output and minimise downtime safely through regular planned maintenance. · Respond to unplanned breakdowns in a timely and effective manner, working alongside engineering and production colleagues to minimise disruption. · Optimise the performance and lifecycle of operational equipment with regular preventative maintenance, working with the Production team, to identify and understand causes of equipment wear and underperformance. · Diagnose and repair equipment breakdowns · Carry out all work according to Safe Systems of Work, Risk Assessments, SOPs, Dynamic Risk Assessments and company policies and procedures.
