Job Description

Job RoleLogistics CoordinatorLocationWellingboroughSalary£30,000 - £37,000 plus benefits and bonusRole ProfileCast UK are supporting our client, who is a leading technology company that are looking to recruit a Logistics Coordinator. positive and enthusiastic mindset, passion for logistics and strong motivation. Someone who has the capabilities to build up a strongrelationship with all stakeholders involved and provide outstanding customer service. Our ideal candidate is a decisive and flexible problem-solver with a strong hands-on mentality that is used to work in teams but can also work independently.Key Accountabilities:

  • Monitor inbound schedule at the Ports and within the Logistic Service Providers (LSP) warehouse;
  • Manage daily storage for multiple sites
  • Report daily order levels, with investigations and resolution of any discrepancies
  • Liaise with the LSP to conduct daily and weekly checks and report this when needed
  • Assist with outbound orders for domestic and international shipments, resolving any errors within the system;
  • Conduct daily outbound tracking report and verify delivery, making updates to the system if needed;
  • Verification of operational costs with the internal cost control department
  • Weekly reporting and validating of LSPs KPIs
  • Create weekly logistics reports to be shared with all key stakeholders
  • Involvement in projects.
Skills & Experience
  • Logistics Bachelor/Masters degree
  • Minimum 2 year of relevant experience
  • Previous Operational Management Skills
  • Good Microsoft Excel skills
  • Previous ERP knowledge
  • Assertive personality
  • Customer orientated
  • Curious, eager to learn and pro-active attitude
  • Constructive problem-solving skills
  • Business English in speaking and writing
  • Ability to prioritize multiple requests and responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
