Job Description

Laravel DeveloperHybrid working - 3 days home and 2 days officeOffice location - NN9 WellingboroughAn exciting position has become available for a Full Stack Lead Web Developer. Being a small team, they have a strong passion for delivering high quality development projects, whilst placing a focus on having fun in the process!The ideal candidate must have:

  • Full Proficiency in both Front and Back End Laravel Development (Full stack)
  • Excellent time management
  • PHP & Composer experience
  • API experience
  • SCSS, JS, jQuery experience
  • Tailwind experience
  • Experience working with complex Laravel applications
  • Full UK Driving Licence required
  • Bootstrap 4/5 experience
Who are they:My client specialise in White Label Web Development, coding on behalf of their clients, mostly marketing agencies, under their name, allowing their customers to expand their services into the web development sector.Currently looking for someone who is confident in most aspects of Laravel development, including PHP & API development, to work independently alongside the development director and project manager, to lead the development team. Support will be offered whereneeded and you will be able to expand your knowledge into areas, youre interested in.What Youll Be Doing:You will be responsible for taking the lead of a wide variety of projects ranging from small improvements all the way up to full custom Laravel builds to match specifications.This job role will appoint you next to the director and project manager to take the lead on most development projects. The successful applicant will be coding and managing these projects to ensure the deadline is hit and the quality of the work is consistentlymet to a high standard throughout the team.Alongside the Laravel builds, they also build various types of websites / front-ends using WordPress. These projects are typically done with the WordPress team however, there will be some involvement with WordPress to support the other developers.As a team, they recognise the importance of self-management, drive and problem solving. Urgent issues / hotfixes can occasionally be pushed through as high priority, and you will need to be prepared to jump on these issues as they arise. Support and teamplay is at the heart of their culture.To be considered you must have a strong understanding of Laravel and LAMP stack. The role would suit someone with front-end and back-end development experience as well as knowledge and experience managing a development team.
