IT Systems Engineer Top opportunity for an IT Systems Engineer to join an international manufacturing business with an IT Infrastructure reaching across the globe. You will benefit from 2 days a week from home and act as an escalation point for 2 level 1 engineers handling 2nd and 3rd line issues whilst guiding the support team. Role/ResponsibilitiesAs part of an agile and dynamic IT team, this role is responsible for managing, maintaining, and supporting IT systems and Infrastructure across multiple sites; IT encompasses a diverse workload covering Security, Networking, Server Management, Virtual Environments,and evolving Cloud-based services. Problem resolution and escalation of issues are key requirements of the role as well as providing technical support to the IT ServiceDesk team as required and as directed by the line manager and Group IT manager. Provide Level 2/3 support and actioning calls as escalated via the service desk system in a timely manner to meet departmental SLA`s. Providing Remote engagement and support to solution providers, partners, and end user across the Group Responding to end user queries and providing updates on the status of Problems, incidents, or Project deployment updates to stakeholders Ensuring that desktop applications, workstations, and related equipment problems are resolved in a timely manner with limited disruptions.
