This role supports over 200 Cash &Carry and Distribution sites with the telephony system.</p> <p>Dont worry if you dont have specific experience, thats whatwe are here for! We are big on offering great learning opportunities and this is no different. Our supportiveManager is keen to provide fulltraining and guidance, so previous IT experience isnt a must have!</p> Role Responsibility <p>Once fully trained, the day to day duties youd expect to carry out are;</p> <p>Provide support to our DC and Cash & Carry Locations regarding the telephony system</p> <p>Support our Network Team when required</p> <p>Support the ongoing project to upgradeto a digital telephony system</p> <p>Workto identify issues that will or are impacting systems stability, availability and functionality, and then work promptly, jointly & proactively to mitigate and resolve such issues</p> <p>Comply with IT supplier contractsand licensing agreements to ensure we remain compliant with contractual terms and conditions</p> <p>Specifyenhancements to systems, log system deficiencies and then work to test the delivered software and any associated changes</p> <p>Due to the nature ofthe role, and systems supported, it may on occasion be necessary to work outside of normal business hours which includes the out of hours escalation process</p> You will need <p>The desire to learn / add value / drive progress<br /> Excellence in building positive relationships with business stakeholders<br /> The ability to prioritise activities and organise own work schedule where applicable<br /> Good written and verbal communicationskills, being able to communicate effectively and efficiently with colleagues, customers and suppliers<br /> The ability to adapt quickly to change<br /> A valid Full UK Driving Licence</p> Whats in it for you <p>At Booker, along with being a great place to work and giving you an opportunity to get on in your career, we also offer the following fantastic package of benefits:</p> <ul> <li>A Booker colleague card with 10% off purchases at Booker and double discountevents up to three times a year.</li> <li>After 3 months service, a Tesco colleague discount card with 10% increasing to 15% off most purchases at Tesco for a 4 day period after every four-weekly pay day, ie. thirteen times a year.
