As a Radio Engineer Apprentice working for Telent you will work to create and execute radio technologies into customer solutions.You will learn a variety of Radio solutions including:Survey ReportsRF designsOnsite systems supportProject DocumentationThe role will require you to travel and work away from home as well as in a Telent office to meet the demands of our projects.Typical DeliverablesThis is a development role and as such the role and the responsibilities will grow with you.Within the role you will:Learn the requirements and skills needed to become a Radio EngineerUse the latest radio frequency design toolsLearn the customer requirements and the expectations of designsSpecifically focus on learning the business requirements in Telent for Radio EngineeringMaintain and input data accurately into customer project files within TelentLiaise with senior system engineers to resolve design queriesInterpret customer requirements, requests and translate to a working solutionUpdate Visio and CAD drawingsIdentify anomalies and work with Senior Engineers to solve themCreate real-life solutions in the radio labs at WellingboroughAttend reviews to verify solution details are accurateEnsure designs are completed in-line with requirements and "Right First Time"Help produce design drawings and documentationHelp produce a Bill of Materials associated with designsProvide technical supportHelp produce initial equipment configurations to enable staging and testing activitiesCollate and produce as-built documentation and associated test resultsReport progress at regular intervals to the Lead/Senior Engineer
