Are you a qualified HGV TechnicianDo you want to work for the market leader with ongoing training and developmentIf the answer is yes, then read on!Our client can offerContinual OEM TrainingPension scheme30 Days Holiday (Including Bank Holidays)OvertimeProgression within the businessHourly rate up to £17 on days/latesAbout the roleDue to sustained growth and a strong order book for the future we are currently recruiting for a HGV technician to work out of their Pontefract VMU (Vehicle Maintenance Unit.Our client offers an unrivalled working environment, with full continual training provided.The ideal candidate will have: You will ensure the most efficient and highest possible standard of mechanical and electrical repair, preventative maintenance and modification of customer vehicles and related ancillary equipment Responsibility for the safety of the working environment and all colleagues/persons within it Work as part of a team to maintain and build employee and customer relations to ensure the workshop operation achieves its objectives and targets Undertake comprehensive and preventative maintenance and repair standards Correct fault diagnosis to ensure replacement parts are fitted correctly and warranty claims are in line with terms Dealing professionally and proficiently with all enquiries and completing job cards and service sheets in a timely manner Undertake diagnostic analysis where appropriateThe Person: Experience within a commercial dealer environment working on HGVs City & Guilds or NVQ level 3 is essential Have practical understanding of using information technology and systems to deliver objectives Safety aware and committed to a right first-time ethos Experience of working in a fast paced and demanding customer environment, with a flexible approach towards meeting the needs of the customer Enthusiastic, with the ability to work on your own initiative, remaining focused and consistent and a can do attitude Demonstrates commercial awareness and has a good understanding and experience of a busy workshop operating environment HGV Class 1 licence preferred but not essentialAt Clemence Rogers your right to privacy is important to us.
