Job role: Field Service Engineer (Agricultural Equipment)Salary: £27,000-£30,000 + travel time (OTE £40k+)Location: Northampton, NorthamptonshireHours: 8:00-16:30 Monday to Friday - flexibility required due to nationwide and international travelJob Type: Full Time, PermanentHolidays: 25 days plus bank holidaysOvertime: Time 1/2 The Company:Interaction have partnered with a rapidly expanding, family-owned manufacturer of premium mowing equipment. Our client has just invested heavily in new equipment and are looking to recruit a new manufacturing team for their site based in Moulton Park. Theyare now looking to recruit a Field Service Engineer to join the busy team. The Benefits:· Salary between £27,000-£30,000 dependent on experience with an OTE of £40K+· 25 Days Holiday plus bank holidays· Overtime time 1/2 and readily available· Travel time paid as well as accommodation and food for occasional overnight stays· Pension· Company van - not for personal use· Medical Insurance· Company uniform· Ongoing commitment to training and progression· Regular employee events and rewards The Role:· This role is 50% field based, 50% site/office-based dealing with warranty and dealer support· Handling customer aftersales enquiries and offer support where required· Travel to different sites to install, repair and maintain mechanical and electrical equipment· Electrical and Mechanical fault finding· Be able to work alone and as part of a team when carrying out installations and repairs.· Travelling nationwide and to internationally in Europe when required· Occasional overnight stays - accommodation and food paid forThe Requirements:· Previous mechanical and electrical experience working in a service environment (essential)· Happy with both field based and office based work (essential)· Good customer service skills (essential)· Mechanical and Electrical fault finding capabilities (essential)· Previous field-based experience (advantageous)· Agricultural industry experience (advantageous)· Towing experience (advantageous)· Relevant Electrical/Mechanical Qualifications (City & Guilds/NVQs) - Advantageous· Happy with nationwide / international travel and occasional overnight staysInteraction Recruitment have specialist consultants across most industries within the UK, including but not limited to, Finance & IT, Technical & Engineering, Industrial, Commercial and Hospitality.
