Berry Recruitment are looking for 2 x Extruder Operators for our Client based in Wellingborough.Extruder Operator Responsibilities:Safe operation of a pellet extruder (cleaning of extruder equipment, completing screen filter changes at the required rate, use of Masterbatch material)Provide quality samples at the specified rate (bulk density checks, visual checks of pellets)Maintaining extruder output to the required standard Housekeeping in the Extruder area - including ancillary process equipment Record extruder process conditions, at the specified rate Supervision of the Extruder partner role (correct in feed material, recording of bag descriptions and numbers, safe operations)Maintain extruder Kanban records Required attributes:FLT licence - counterbalanceMachine operator background 2-5yrsExtrusion, blown film, injection moulding, profile extrusionPlastics: PVC, PE, PET, ABS.Mechanical appreciation of process equipment1st level breakdown checks - checking the obvious reasons for a breakdownWorking under own initiative / no direct supervisionProduct quality - attention to detail [product identification/ traceability]Understanding of production costs to include waste, downtime, scrap and re-workHistory of good timekeeping and attendancePay is £29,400 working on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern rotating days and nights weekly.If you are interested please contact Pete in the Northampton Office.Please note that no terminology in this advert is intended to discriminate on the grounds of a persons gender, marital status, race, religion, colour, age, disability or sexual orientation.
