Job Description

Business Development ManagerUp to £45,000 with car or car allowance and uncapped commissionNorthamptonWere looking for a Business Development Manager on behalf of our waste and recycling client based in Northampton. They offer end to end solutions, from installation of products through to removal and management of waste, across a variety of industries.Theyre looking for someone who will open doors into new sectors, and someone whos driven, self-motivated and passionate about winning new business.As Business Development Manager, your will be responsible for:

  • Research and identify new business opportunities - including new markets, clients, partnerships, and/or new ways of reaching existing markets
  • Identify the appropriate contact in an organisation
  • Generate leads via network marketing and events and/or positive and successful conversations with key decision makers within the sector.
  • Think outside the box, identify new waste streams within the WEEE sector to increase revenue.
  • Meet with customers/clients face to face or over the phone
  • Foster and develop relationships with customers/clients and understand fully their business and their requirements.
  • Understand the needs of your customers and the sector and be able to respond effectively with a plan to win their business - think strategically - seeing the bigger picture and setting aims and objectives to develop and improve the business
  • Agree client SLAs - depending on the size of company, this task may be completed by someone else, or agreements may not be as formal
  • Attend seminars, conferences, and events where appropriate
What are we looking for
  • Previous Business Development experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Industry experience is desirable
  • Full UK driving licence is essential as youll be traveling to client sites
