Quest Employment, the recruitment agency where People are our Priority, are recruiting now for a Bespoke footwear Alterations technician in Wellingborough.Do you enjoy a hands-on jobWe have a fantastic opportunity to join a great company who are well known for their forward thinking and bespoke work, on a temporary to permanent basis.Duties of a Bespoke footwear Alterations technician in include:

  • Working with hand tools /measuring devices
  • Working on roughing machines /band saws /pillar drills/heating equipment
  • Working from an order which will give specific instruction of the footwear fit.
Materials involved:Leather / E.V.A / P.V.C / Rubber / cork / Plaster of Paris /Rubber adhesives.Requirements:
  • Good hand eye coordination
  • Being able to work with a mature manner
  • Reliability
  • The ability to work as apart of a team as well as on your own
Hours39 hours a week.SalaryStarting from £18,000 PAPrevious experience is desirable however not necessary as in-depth hands-on training is provided.Health and SafetyHealth and safety procedures must be worn at all times. Care must be taken when using cutting blades and hand tools. All tools and machinery must be checked before use to ensure they are safe to use.
