Job Description

Part time - 30 hours per weekMaintenance Coordinator (Customer Service and Administration based)Salary: £10.50 per hour/ £15,015 per annum actual salaryMonday - Friday, 9am - 3pm (including a 30 minute daily unpaid lunch break). No weekends.Wellingborough, Town Centre. Office Based. Permanent. A driving licence would be advantageous due to the nature of the requirements of the role Match Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of their client based in Wellingborough. Our client is a long established boutique Estate Agency with an impressive 30 year history covering Wellingborough and nearby areas with both residential sales, rental (lettings)and property management services. This is where you come in, theyre looking to add to their office based - Rental/ Property Management team.Purpose of role:In this position you will be liaising with Tenants and Landlords in connection with maintenance requests that have been reported by the occupants of the properties that we let and manage. You will also be engaging with contractors and tradesmen in orderto initially obtain quotations for works required and then subsequently instructing the tradesmen to carry out the works. Additionally will also be arranging annual gas safety checks, energy performance certificates and electric certification. You will beworking closely with their Property Manager in order to ensure all properties have any essential remedial works carried out that are noted on our periodic visits.What youll be doing everyday:

  • Liaising with Landlords and Tenants regarding property maintenance issues and request. This will be over the phone, face to face and via email
  • Engaging with relevant contractors and tradesmen to obtain quotations for maintenance works required
  • Authorising maintenance works to be carried and to ensure repair/maintenance works are carried out to a satisfactory standard
  • Arranging Landlords gas safety checks, Energy Performance Certificate and electric certification
  • Maintaining all records ensuring that all information is accurate, compliant and up to date
  • Liaise with the Property Manager in order to oversee any maintenance issues required following periodic visits
  • Provide additional general administration support

  • Demonstrable previous customer service experience
  • Have an excellent telephone manner
  • Examples of prioritising workload and previously working in a faced paced environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
