Job Description

Are you an experienced HR Assistant looking for a new challengeWe have a great opportunity available for a suitably experienced HR Assistant to join our team based in Corby. You will join us on a full-time, fixed term basis for 6 months initially, however there could be an opportunity for this to be extended or even made permanent. It all adds up to providing a service that is “Better, Faster, Cheaper” than our competitors.As one of our HR Assistants you will be required to deliver a professional and efficient HR Administration service to the Operational site, working as part of the HR Team.Responsibilities of our HR Assistant will include:- Delivering a professional HR administration service to Site Operations and the HR Team- Working closely with the HR Advisor & Business Partner in ensuring that all administrative aspects are managed efficiently and professionally- Providing administration support for people processes including new starters, leavers, employee changes, employee relations processes, Reward & Benefits- Ensuring that Managers are aware of and adhere to the Company policies and procedures effectively, treating employees fairly, in line with best practice and legislative requirements whilst meeting business need.- Making recommendations for improvements in processes and practices.- Providing guidance and counsel for all colleagues under the guidance of the HR Advisor and HR Business Partner.- Processing absence notifications, medical notes and other administration relating to employee absence. Support with keeping absence within Company targets- Working with managers to ensure the Return To Work process is followed after any period of absence- Updating and processing the T&A payroll for the sites- Responding to employee and financial reference requests- Supporting with colleague communications including updating communication zones and colleague notice boards.- Coordinating of the Colleague of the month / week including procedures, write ups, photographs, issuing certificates and vouchers- Coordinating the recruitment and onboarding process for specified vacancies- Contributing to ad hoc projects as part of the HR Team- Maintaining and updating Organisation charts, HR Team SharePoint and electronic filing systems.Benefits of joining as an HR Assistant:- Staff discounts – up to 30% discount with ASOS (after 6 months employment)- Access to Company Shop for Corby based colleagues- Employee of the month awards (£50 Love2Shop vouchers)- Seasonal fun events & give away- Free tea and coffee- Onsite parking- Refer a friend schemeIf you want to progress your career as our new HR Assistant, click apply now – we look forward to hearing from you!
