West Midlands Metro is your ticket to an exciting career in the heart of Englands thriving West Midlands region, we are the driving force behind modern, sustainable urban transportation.We are delighted to announce that West Midland Metro are the Winner of the Tram Operator of the Year Award, issues by the UK National Transport Awards.We are currently undertaking a 1.2-billion-pound expansion programme with the view to opening further stops in the next 12 months to Wolverhampton and Dudley and as such we are looking to recruit our new generation of Tram Drivers!As our Tram Driver/CSR, you will be responsible for:

  • Driving a tram on our Network and adhering to the timetable within our passenger service.
  • Promptly and accurately communicate travel disruption information to your customers.
  • Reporting any safety critical concerns or behaviours through the correct internal procedure
  • Ensuring that all customers have a valid ticket or pass.
  • Maintaining an in-depth knowledge of products and services provided by us.
  • As a tram driver ensure that you deliver a safe sustainable reliable and sustainable passenger service.
In order to be successful in this role, it is essential that you have / are:
  • A full, clean driving license which has been held for a minimum of 12 months.
  • You must be 21 years old or above due to our insurance requirements.
  • Demonstrable ability to stay calm within a pressurised environment whilst dealing effectively with customer expectations.
