Team Manager - Parcel Sort CentreRole OverviewTeam Manager - Parcel Sort Centre

  • Location: Wednesbury (WS10)
  • Salary:£26,157 Per Annum (+20% shift allowance for hours worked between 22:00 - 06:00 equivalent to £31,388)
  • Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday / Tuesday - Saturday 17:30 - 02:00
  • Contract: Permanent

What youll be doingAs a Team Manager in our Sort operation youll support the operation through the co-ordination and close control of our parcel processing activity to achieve the timely, safe and efficient distribution of parcels, whilst maintaining the highest of standardsof site performance at all times, in line with Company procedures.Youre part of our essential management team, therefore youll provide leadership to our Team Leaders and hardworking Sort staff including the allocation of colleagues to tasks, supervision of performance standards and identification and resolution of operationalor staffing problems through the Sort centre management chain.Youll work closely with all other Team Managers and Sort managers to ensure continuity of operational efficiency in the Wednesbury Hub.What you need to show usYoull need to have gained experience of leading a team and have worked in a fast paced Distribution/Parcel/Logistics environment before with the relevant Health and Safety knowledge already gained.Youll be happy and comfortable completing basic administration and be a confident and clear communicator.
