SMART Education is currently seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team for a unique opportunity in Wednesbury. The position involves working in a pupil referral unit and requires individuals with a proven track record in handling challengingbehaviour. The selected candidate will be assigned to work 1:1 with a year 9 pupil who has a comprehensive risk assessment.This role demands previous experience in a similar environment, particularly in managing challenging behaviour. The successful candidate must be well-versed in addressing the complexities of such situations. This is a part-time position, requiring a commitmentof 1.5 to 3.5 hours per day, Monday to Friday, with working hours falling between 11 am and 4 pm.Immediate availability is crucial, and applicants must possess an up-to-date DBS on the update service. Additionally, the ability to provide 24 months of work references is essential.
