Job Description

Our client are a leading mid-range food processor and distributor with headquarters near Walsall / Wolverhampton.They are currently seeking a supply chain administrator to work at the companys head office to support a small team of buyers and planners.The role is suited to an individual with good adminstration skills and attention to detail.Core duties

  1. Create / Amend Purchase Orders
  2. Tie up inbound Containers with Purchase Orders
  3. Keep systems up to date with container arrival dates
  4. Report shortages / damages to suppliers ensuring that Debit Notes are raised / sent by Accounts.
  5. Ensure PODs and Invoices are received per consignment.
  6. Send booking forms for direct deliveries to relevant customers
  7. Liaise with shipping agents / suppliers to ensure PO delivery dates are met
  8. Support Supply Chain and Purchasing with any other tasks as required
The successful candidate will have:
  • Minimum 1-2 years experience in an office role is preferred.
  • Good Excel and MS skills; ability to learn how to use new software packages.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage time well, prioritise tasks and work under own initiative.
  • Ability to work in a team.
The working hours are Mon - Fri (9 am and 5 pm).
