Microsoft Power BI SpecialistSalary: Up to £55,000Location: Hybrid - Offices available in Portsmouth/WednesburyDuration: 6 months initial durationWe have a fantastic opportunity for a multi-site Dynamics 365 technical coordination role and hands on development/delivery of MS BI reports and Power Apps. The technical coordination role will include overseeing the common platform across these sites, thesetting up of user sign-on accounts and managing upgrades for Dynamics 365. The BI and Power Apps Developer part of the role will be to lead the development and implementation of Power BI reporting and the identification and development of Power Apps. In thiskey role, you will take ownership of the Power BI dashboard and report across a number of companies in both the UK and internationally. You will take ownership for any reporting and training required for Power BI across the businesses.Skills and Qualifications of Power BI SpecialistEssential* Significant experience of delivering Power BI reports to meet user requirements in a business environment (3+ years experience with Power BI)* Able to elicit requirements from stakeholders and turn them into designs* Show a hands-on approach in the full life-cycle delivery of reports, dashboards, and data feeds* Capture detailed end-user requirements and prioritise* Ability to manage multiple user requirements on complex systems* Experience of building and implementing Power Apps in conjunction with business stakeholders* Good stakeholder and user management skills* Good knowledge of MS IT systems* Good communicator, both written and oral* Good organisation skills, able to prioritise and plan own time in line with department requirements* Flexibility - able to adapt to changing prioritiesDesirable* Passion for Power Platform and self-learning to advance your own career* Demonstrate strategic awareness to make a connection between your day to day tasks and the overall goals of the IT department* Proven experience in data analytics (data warehouse or Data Lake environments) - 2-5 years* Proven experience in developing ETL using tools - SQL, Python,* Appetite for a widening set of responsibilities around the MS enterprise solutions within the organisation* Ability to coordinate and oversee the regular Dynamics 365 upgrades across the Group* Experience with managing Active Directory and Group policy* Knowledge of how to implement data segregation across a number of legal entities within a wider organisation* Knowledge of Windows security best practices* Managing user sign on accounts and associated security access.* Overseeing work to consolidate any group services onto a common platform or software used over more than one business* Liaising with third party IT providers and consultants* Working in a manufacturing related business with overseas tradeDetails* Working Location - Based out of Portsmouth or Wednesbury office, with visits to two other UK businesses (Portsmouth/Wednesbury/Sheffield).
