A leading provider of lifting and equipment inspection services in the UK, Lloyds British, a Speedy business, has been providing specialist testing, inspection, maintenance, certification and training services for the lifting services industry for over 200 years.We are recruiting a Lifting Engineer with knowledge of various lifting equipment (MEWPS, Cranes, etc.) who is compliant with current regulatory and statutory requirements (LOLER and PUWER) to work within the inspection team in the Wednesburyarea. This role involves the inspection, adjustment and maintenance of all aspects of lifting and handling equipment including fault finding procedures and carrying out the necessary repairs to restore equipment to a safe working condition. As part of the role, you will compile reports to present to the customer and discuss the best way forward. You will also have the opportunity to organise, progress and carry out major installations as required.What you’ll need:
