Job Description

Health & Safety ManagerWednesbury£40k - £50k DOEMonday – FridayMy client is looking for an experienced Health & Safety Manager to join their team! If you are looking to join a well-established organisation and have experience working within the manufacturing sector, then this could be the role for you!Duties include:

  • Implementing and promotinghealthandsafetyregulations within the workplace
  • Ensuring all documentation is kept up to date
  • Monitoring the compliance of the OH&S Management System and make any necessary amendments
  • Carrying out internal audits and reporting on the outcome
  • Conducting inductions for new starters and ensuring they are aware of all H&S policies and procedures
  • Any other duties required
The successful candidate will have / be:
  • Previous experience in a similar role within manufacturing (essential)
  • A NEBOSH certificate (IOSH will be beneficial, but not essential)
  • Knowledge of BS ISO 45001
  • Strong understanding of compliance and legalrequirements
  • Willing to be hands-on and carry out regular shop floor walks daily
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
