Job Description

Vehicle TechnicianHours are flexible: 8am to 4pm (Or 9am to 5pm/ 10am to 6pm)Salary: £30,000 per annumAre you looking for a new opportunity working for a reputable company based in the heart of Wednesbury as a Fleet Technician You will be required to report into the Senior Vehicle Technician, you will carry out installations, maintenance and de- installationsof telematics and equipment across their extensive vehicle fleet. This will include working on vehicles at remote locations as well as on Company and/or supplier sites. You may also be asked to support the team by working on other vehicle maintenance and repairtasks as required.Responsibilities of the Fleet Technician:

  • To install telematics and cameras in our mid-size vans (3.5 T) and HGVs.
  • To assist with routine maintenance and repair tasks as required.
  • To work safely by using all tools and equipment correctly and by observing all Company Health and Safety rules.
  • To refer to the Senior Vehicle Technician as and when necessary to ensure that tasks can be completed within the right timescales and to the required quality.
Requirements of the Fleet Technician:
  • Experience as a van technician of at least 12 months.
  • A valid UK Driving License is essential for this role.
  • Achieved or working towards an NV Level 2 Van Technician qualification, or ability to demonstrate equivalent skill.
  • A positive, can-do attitude.
  • Ability to manage changing priorities within the working day.
  • Team-player but also able to work well independently.
