Job Description

A brand new opportunity has become available for a Finance Co-ordinator to join an established steel stockholding business. The role will be providing support to the Business Support team who work together to provide support and financial result across thebusiness. Our client offers the opportunity to gain experience in a well established company and the chance to progress in a varied role including the opportunity to work towards an apprenticeship for an accountancy qualification. Benefits include free onsiteparking and a subsidised canteen.THE JOB ROLE

  • Matching, checking & processing purchase invoices
  • Investigating & resolving invoices queries
  • Communicating with other departments within TMC, accounting centre and credit centre
  • Liaising with external suppliers
  • Support to the Finance Co-ordinators at month end
  • Other adhoc tasks required by the department
  • You will report to the Finance Business Partner
EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENTS
  • The ideal candidate will hold strong time management and task prioritization skills, be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Have good numeracy and communication skills.
  • A positive can do attitude.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • The ability to work independently and have a good team ethic
  • Able to communicate to both internal and external contacts
  • Ideally 1 year experience within a similar role would be advantageous.
