Job Description

Finance Business Partner (Digital) | Wednesbury, Walsall (Hybrid 3 days in 2 days remote) | c. £55,000 plus car allowance, 25 days holiday, bonus, great staff discount, medical plan, free on-site parking and benefits | Retail & e-commerceDo you have Finance Business Partnering experience from a digital or e-commerce backgroundWould you like to take that experience and now lead a digital e-commerce business through a journey of growthA truly exciting opportunity to join a leading, forward thinking and modern retail business, currently undergoing a period of rapid growth and expansion. This is a great place to work; energetic, vibrant and full of talented, like-minded people.About the roleThis role will play a key role within the Digital Team. This will be a permanent role supporting the digital side of the business and supporting a newly acquired online business within the group. The role entails two core elements:

  • Supporting and challenging performance across the Digital function
  • Continuous process improvements across reporting, reviewing performance, forecasting and budgeting
Key responsibilities
  • Provide analysis to challenge business performance and ensure risks and opportunities are highlighted promptly and actions are driven by relevant stakeholders.
  • Deliver the business performance reporting suite to the Digital team and board
  • Work closely with the Director of Digital and team to ensure a robust performance management framework is in place to measure progress against delivery of strategic goals.
  • Assist with the generation and analysis of overhead budgets to ensure budgets are stretching, achievable and aligned to the corporate goals.
  • Act as a Business Partner to provide support and challenge to the Operations Team
  • Manage wage reporting and analysis to assist the Digital team to deliver against wage targets
  • Work with Profit Protection and Retail Productivity to provide quality business information and analysis which supports the goal of maximising profit and minimising losses
Person profile
  • ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualified
  • Digital / ecommerce retail experience essential
  • Commercial Finance and Business Partnering experience
  • Experience within a fast moving, change & transformation environment will be beneficial
  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, presentation)
