Job Description

Electrical Machine Engineer / Fitter required immediatley for our client based in Wednesbury. We are lloking for an experienced Electrial Fitter / Engineer to join our team on a 12 week temporary to permanent basis.You will be responsible for the assembly and build of industrial wash machines to support the sales requirements for both domestic and export markets.Main Objectives:To ensure a timely and accurate build of all machines in line with Quality Standards and customer branding requirements. To validate PAT results and other safety standards relating to the functionality and safe operation of machines.To assist with diagnosis and repair of customers equipment following breakdown.To support the ongoing development of products through product innovation programs. The role will also require the individual to be actively involved with the electronics development of the products.Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

  • Taking instructions for machine build activities from the Operations Manager.
  • Responsible for maintaining adequate stock of parts to meet the machine build program.
  • Responsible for producing all machines and equipment for dispatch in line with customer expectations. To communication with internal and external stakeholders ensuring that all orders are fulfilled.
  • To ensure that all requirements for PAT are adhered to.
  • Carry out refurbishment and repair of ex-rental machines for onward sale as required.
  • Conduct fault diagnosis, refurbishment, repair, and maintenance of equipment at the main office and customer locations.
  • Ensure that all machine build programs are adhered to while taking responsibility for all Quality Control checking, validations and record keeping.
  • To promote continuous processes to create a continuous improvement program which will include: labour efficiency, product innovation, and Quality Control.
  • To support within the warehouse function as and when required by the business.
    • Knowledge and Skills:
  • Electrical/Electronic qualifications/training.
  • Ability to read electrical diagrams.
  • Ability to read CAD drawings.
  • Strong Interpersonal & networking skills

  • Strong analytical and problem- solving skills.
  • Logical thinking
  • Relationship skills internally and externally
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
    • Salary & Benefits:Starting salary c£22k - c£24k depending on experience12 Week Temp To Perm Required skills
